Using Excel, Lesson 2
A. Tools/Applications Used Spreadsheet (Excel)
B. In this project you will demonstrate you’ve learned how to:
1. Format a basic Spreadsheet
2. Label column with a heading and resize columns and rows appropriately
3. Insert a calculation
4. Use the “Fill” feature for duplicate formulas
5. Add borders to cells to create a basic table
6. Change the color of series of numbers in table and the top
and side row of table
F. Evaluation: See the evaluation rubric to know how your teacher will be evaluating and scoring you on this project,
but before you’re finished, be sure to evaluate and score yourself!
D. Project Description:
1. Create a single sheet Excel workbook that will create a multiplication table for numbers 1 to 12
2. You will need to insert calculations into the grid to correctly create a multiplication table
